To create a table, I rounded pegs into the bottoms out of a block of 2×4 cut in half, with shelf supports for the table.

You can see in one of the shots, I switched out the shelf supports with shorter ones. This is a rough prototype for fitting. For the finished product, I would like thinner plywood, and less obtrusive bolts. I also want to remake the posts for the pegs to have a tighter fit.
Fairly soon I need pack for some real world testing so I can see where I need to go next.
On another note, since I have a functioning household power supply, so any 110 volt power needs, have been supplied by the car. That being said, I did chose a weak, nearly dead Prius battery for theory testing, and it very much struggles to handle the radial saw load. I need to start thinking about a proper deep-cycle battery. I also need to start considering a 12 volt battery charger that can be permanently installed to automatically run when plugged into shore power.
